4.16.16 | The Figueroa Family
A beautiful morning in the gardens with this beyond beautiful family! This little guy was super fun and liked showing off his dance moves... and how about that bow tie?! The love between this couple is clearly evident and their devotion to their son is heartwarming. I had such a lovely time with these three!

4.15.16 | Quigley Family Sneak Peek
Happy 1st Birthday, Colton & Riley! I cannot believe they are already 1! It seems like yesterday they we both cuddled up in their pea pod (Check out this post for their newborn session to see what I mean!)! They are growing up so fast and into such awesome kiddos! Their parents are such special and amazing people... I cannot wait to share more photos of this gorgeous and fun day! For now... you will have to obsess (as I am) over this shot with these cuties <3

2.27.16 | Hidden Spring Lavender
So, I may be a bit biased due to my obsession with lavender... but this place is gorgeous! The farm is charming and the shoppe is filled with intoxicating lavender products (made on site). The owner is lovely and so knowledgeable. If you love lavender or if you are looking for wonderful gifts for the lavender-lover in your life, I highly recommend Hidden Spring Lavender! Yes, I left with a few indulgences this afternoon :-)
I cannot wait until these beauties bloom! Even though their flowers are not present, these plants are still beautiful. You better believe that I will be back in the late spring, early summer to take in the splendor of these blooms!

2.21.16 | Fun at the park
Fun times at the park with these three loves! We were able to take advantage of the unseasonably warm winter weather and all of the fun attractions at the park. Our visit was full of running, twirling, sliding, and swinging! I had to join in ;-)

Take a moment...
The school year is upon us and the hustle is in full swing. Back to waking up before the sun. What is the silver lining to rising so early? Being able to watch the sun wake before my eyes with a kaleidoscope of colors. Each morning I drive by this corn field and am in awe over this sight... The sun rising over the forest and the fog ominously hovering over the once corn filled field. One morning I finally stopped to capture my erie yet spectacular morning view...

I am one lucky gal!
I finally got my better half to pose for me while on a walk in the beautiful park with our pup and, boy, am I happy he did! The light was perfect but more importantly I was able to capture his beyond handsome face... wowee am I one lucky gal to be able to call him my husband!! <3 Not only is he a 10, he is my number 1 fan and my rock... I am blessed beyond belief!
BTW! I stumbled upon a fantastic location for portraits!! Family, maternity, child... you name it!
I caught myself, too ;-)

Architecture
I have a confession to make... I am obsessed with architecture! The intricate details of a gothic architecture captivates me... pointed arches, flying buttresses, and ribbed vaulting! St. Paul Roman Catholic Church of Princeton is a beautiful example of this stunning architecture. Not to mention the stained glass is breath-taking!

Let them bee
It is not breaking news that the bee population is on the decline. These vital pollinators are suffering from parasites, habitat alterations, and pesticide use not only here in the states but around the world. One specific species normally found on the west coast of the US is now thought to be extinct!
The next time you see a bee (bumble, honey...), please do not squish it! Either relocate it or just let it bee ;-)
Interested in learning more? Here are just a couple of the many sites that are concerned with the conservation of these super pollinators.

Spring Festival!
Welcome, Spring!
What a beautiful, summer-like day with wonderful friends, nice music, yummy food, fun vendors, and delicious wine at Laurita Winery's Spring Festival (Love the Windswept White!! My better half prefers the Cabernet Franc 2013.). We took a tour of the vineyard and learned more about their history and values which makes me love this place even more! If you haven't figured it out yet, I highly recommend Laurita Winery :)

What a beautiful day for a soccer game! PDA (green) played so well today and ended up with the win at the very last minute! Great skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship were on full display.
So proud of #5, especially ;-)

Winter's exit (hopefully)
This winter has been quite relentless...
Sub zero temps and ice and squalls... Oh, my!
This weather is harsh but it does provide some breath-taking landscapes. This morning was no exception! The sun was rising but the moon was reluctant to set. I had to grab my camera and take this shot out of my front window like a scene from a Hitchcock film!

Snowy Scene
I pass this field every morning and am always drawn to this hidden, gnarly tree. I could not wait for a nice snow storm to blanket the field and bring focus to this normally forgotten tree. Today was that day! We trudged out when not many others had and discovered the tree, dormant and serene, framed in wintery wonder.

Winter Hike
We love the great outdoors... and so does our pup, Yukon! What a fun day hiking through the park and stopping for some nice photo ops!

Horsing around
Traveling around Imlaystown, NJ is a great way to catch animals in their element. I love seeing them gallop together through the fields and they are definitely characters! This guy trotted towards me and posed! So cute and so social.
